Modest Monday and a Link Up!

It’s the end of a long, busy, and sometimes stressful week. I’m thankful a new week is starting, and that God’s mercy is always new every day!

It’s so cold outside! I just didn’t have it in me to go outside, so we took pictures in front of our Christmas tree.

I’m wearing a sweater that I got from Stitch Fix last Christmas…or maybe even two years ago? I really like it!

This month is going by so fast! We keep trying to fit a few more things on our calendar, and it’s just so booked we can’t seem to add anything else! I’m trying to decide when we will take a Christmas break and if it will be for just 1 week or 2.

We just received the Olive color and New Ivory maxi dresses in stock at Deborah & Co., so if you still need a great gift these will ship out right away! I think both of the colors are beautiful! The other colors are on backorder, I’m hoping they arrive very soon!

What I Wore

Sweater – Stitch Fix (A gift card to Stitch Fix makes a great gift!)

Skirt – Black Maxi Skirt (not available online)

Shoes – Black Flats from Rockport – I ordered these from Zulily and LOVE them! Super comfortable!

Flexi Clip – I wore a leather clip and hair stick from Lilla Rose. For some reason the picture won’t upload!

Lipstick – I really like the Stila All Day Liquid Lipstick in the Perla color. It stays on a long time and the color is pretty!

Link Up Time!

  1. It has been so cold and so busy! While you are adding things on your calendar, I refuse to do on our end! My hubby took time off from work during the last week and beginning of January. It’s only our family time since normal days are so hectic with his commute already and my son’s activities. Stripes are always good no matter what time of the year. The colors on your sweater is beautiful and perfect!

  2. This is my first time joining the link party. Thank you for hosting! I shared 2 posts that I thought would be helpful for other moms at the party – one for helping your kids learn to manage anger and emotions (with a printable), and another with my family’s favorite Christmas books that you may want to add to your collection.

  3. I teach with a homeschooling group, and we decided by darn this year we wanted 2 weeks break! We start late and end early so we are already pushing the envelope for finishing. However, we scheduled out all the work that needs to be done and we are going to make it! It really helps that my class is on board with the plan. They want to weeks too!

  4. I’ve wanted to try Stitch Fix but haven’t done so yet. Love the outfit! Anything I’ve seen from Stitch Fix I have liked. We’re trying to do less at Christmas too, but it’s hard. 🙂
