Modest Monday and a Link Up!
We did something I don’t think we have ever done so early before – we decorated for Christmas this week! The children and I had a lot of fun putting up our Christmas tree and stockings. I tried something new this year and I put twinkle lights in a garland from Hearth and Home hung it above my kitchen window. You wouldn’t believe how much the children and I love it! Sean prefers a more homey, old style of Christmas decor (basically, a Grandma type look as we like to tease him), so he put a few things on his desk that he likes. 😉
I found this dress on Amazon and wore it for the first time on Sunday. It’s very soft and comfortable, and I like the the ruffle part is all sewn together so it won’t fly up in the wind. They have quite a few different colors, the dark green would be cute for Christmas!
What I Wore
Dress – Women’s Ruffle Dress on AmazonÂ
Boots – Similar
Flexi Clip – Lilla Rose
Necklace – Similar in Rose Gold colorÂ

I have begun a bit of Christmas decorating as well. I want it all to be done by the first weekend in December.
You look beautiful! I love the dress and actually think I’ll be ordering one. That color is great:) Also I’ve been following your blog for years and just love your sweet family <3
The color of your dress is very flattering.
And I’ve never decorated much before Thanksgiving, but with the fourth Thursday falling so late in the month, it’s tempting…
I love your dress. It’s very flattering and feminine.
