Modest Monday and a Link Up
After a few weeks of not getting the Modest Monday post up, I’m back! I had tech problems last week, and it was hard to keep up with the posts over the holidays.
We had a huge snowstorm this weekend and I thought it would be fun to go out and take pictures with the beautiful white snow as a backdrop!
Shabby Apple sent me this maxi dress, it’s a fun maxi dress that is really cute for a date night! The front is nursing friendly, but it does gape a little funny, so I would definitely wear a Halftee under it if I was going out on a date.
My winter coat is from ThredUP, it’s a Gap brand and it’s a dark navy blue. I don’t wear the hat very often, but I found it on Zulily a few years ago.
What I Wore
Dress – Shabby Apple
Boots – Zulily
Winter Coat – Gap brand from ThredUP
Hat – Zulily
Makeup – Foundation and lipstick – Younique, Blush – Tarte brand (LOVE!), Bronzer – Smashbox
*Thanks to Shabby Apple for sending me this dress to wear!*

That’s a beautiful dress and it looks amazing against the snow. Love the color contrast between the navy coat and burgundy. It’s all simply gorgeous. Happy Monday and wishing you a fantastic week ahead!

A wonderful dress and what an amazing photo shoot in the snow. I hope that you did not get too cold!
It is still quite mild in the UK but I have been stocking up my winter wardrobe and have just started to wear jeans at the age of 38!!
Brr!!!! You need a cardigan with that! More suited for spring or summer!

Enjoy the snow! Beautiful pictures!
That dress looks so comfortable! And with pockets! I wonder if it wrinkles after washing? I hope that you enjoy my Armor of God Birthday Party post, with the Sword Cake post that goes with it….
I love the dress, but you’re brave to be out in the snow! Thanks for hosting and happy New Year!
