It’s not often that I’m actually excited to share these Modest Monday pictures with you these days…I’m still in the postpartum blues of feeling like nothing fits right, and desperately wishing my baby weight could just fall off. And yes, Sophia just turned 10 months old so that makes it more depressing. 🙂

However, I’ve been looking forward to this Modest Monday, because I love the skirt I’m wearing!
Lace Blue Skirt from LulaRoe. This is such a lovely skirt that will be perfect for all seasons!

You might have heard of the brand…it’s a Lularoe skirt! I’ve been looking at the maxi skirts and these Lola Skirts, and when I saw this lace skirt I just had to get it!

This Lace Lola skirt from Lularoe is just beautiful! I love styling it with a cardigan, and fleece tights to stay warm in the winter time!

It has a comfortable elastic waist band, and this Lola skirt is lined with the lace overlay. Some of the Lola skirts are just a knit skirt instead of the lace.

I’ve fallen in love with the Lularoe clothing that I offered to host an online party for the consultant I purchased this skirt from! I’d love to invite you to join the Facebook group that Chelsea has set up. It’s very informal, and a lot of fun!

The party will start this Thursday, February 4th at 10am PST, and will go through February 6th, 10am PST.  At 10am on Thursday, Chelsea will start posting clothing items for sale to the albums at that time. She will post post various styles of clothing through the day, so you don’t have to show up at a certain time! In order to purchase an item comment below the photo with SOLD and your email address. All invoices will go out on Feb 6th at the close of the party.

I’m really looking forward to it! Just click here and request to be added to the group! The skirts always look different, because the fabrics are limited quantities, so if you see something you like, you have to grab it right away!

I braided my bangs and pulled the braid back into low ponytail, using a medium size flexi clip. It’s one of my favorites!

  1. You look so adorable! <3

I've shared a post on bravery – and how the world thinks that taking your clothes off is brave, but it is actually the faith to dress the way God asks that is courageous. I've also shared a paleo twist on your usual pumpkin soup and croutons.

    Thanks for hosting!

  2. You look beautiful and especially, so pulled together!! I love your skirt and how your colors all coordinate so well even though they are so different. It gives me some good ideas!! Have a wonderful week.

  3. I love those colors on you! The skirt is adorable. Okay the whole outfit is adorable. I’m inspired to get “put together” today.

  4. Hey,
Have you ever tried Trim Healthy Mama?
You can do it while nursing (I’ve lost 8lbs this month while nursing, and my baby is gaining weight beautifully. I only feel like I don’t have enough milk if I do really bad about not eating enough. Which honestly happens when I’m not dieting also. I just have to make sure I remember to eat enough).
When I stick to THM meals my energy and even my moods are so much better.
Anyway it may not be for you, but I thought I’d at least mention it.
You really look great. I think our extra pounds usually stand out more to ourselves than anyone else.
