Modest Monday and a Link Up!

We’ve been back to our homeschool lessons for two weeks now, and I’m thrilled to say, that after the excitement of starting, so far the worst day was the first one! It was really long, and I was almost in tears by the end of the day. But things have slowly been getting into a routine, and I’m super excited about all the curriculum we are doing and the wonderful scriptural truths the boys will be learning in as they study world history! I just ordered the All About Learning Level 1 for our Kindergarten age daughter, as the Pre-Reading was really too easy for her. I’m excited to get it in the mail and get her started.
Saturday my dad and step-mom came in town to celebrate two birthdays in the family, so we went to a nearby children’s farm for the day. We had so much fun watching the children ride ponies, fish in the pond, go on a hay wagon ride, and see all the animals! This is what I wore to the farm.
By the wagon and plow…
A little cabin with a rocking chair in the middle of a beautiful flower garden!
Taking a rest….
I fixed my hair a new way (at least I don’t remember doing this before!). I french braided part of my hair and used a size small Open Heart Dangle Flexi Clip. It stayed put all day long, the clip didn’t slide or move. Love Lilla Rose Clips!
My sweetheart and I. I’m so blessed to have a wonderful husband who loves me.
Sean and I with our youngest. I always try to get a few pictures of the youngest child as a baby with just Sean and I. I love large families, but I don’t want the youngest to always feel they were lumped in with everyone else and didn’t get those special pictures taken with their parents like the first born does. 🙂

Love your outfit! Thank you for hosting. :o)
Looking good as always. Love the pics with your sweetheart and youngest. Blessings!
Beautiful as always!
Looks like you had fun! I love the picture of you with your youngest, too. I feel the same way about not letting the younger children get lost in the shuffle when you have a larger family. 🙂 Thanks for hosting!
Love that first picture of you and your hubby! And I think that’s a great idea for pics with your youngest!
