Modest Monday and a Link Up!
It’s time for another Modest Monday link up! I am so recharged and refreshed for this week, and my hope and prayer is that you all are as well! I was blessed to get away for 24 hours to attend a small blogging retreat this past weekend. It was amazing, and just what I needed. So many ideas are now swirling around my head!
I had to stay home with my two youngest daughters from church on Sunday, as our 3 year old had a fever while I was gone. I didn’t want her to give it to anyone at church, so I stayed home and cleaned our *ahem* extremely messy bedroom and had a few extra minutes to spend on getting dressed. My husband was so very happy when he walked in and saw our spotless bedroom after church! Somehow our bedroom is the dumping ground for everything in our small house. It is really hard keeping it clean.

I just got the cardigan from TWICE and it is like wearing pajamas during the daytime! So soft, I love it! My polka dot skirt from Deborah & Co. is just as comfortable though, so the whole outfit rates super high in the comfort scale. 🙂 You don’t have to be uncomfortable to wear a skirt!
My necklace is the Sorrento necklace from Mialisia. It is adjustable, so you could wrap it around twice or wear it long.
I tried something new with my flexi clip. I’m still trying to decide if I like how it turned out. 🙂

Flexi Clip – Lilla Rose (They sell seven different sizes so if your hair is thinner don’t worry!)
Necklace – Sorrento from Mialisia
Earrings – Capri from Mialisia
Makeup – L’BRI natural makeup –Â No acetone, heavy perfumes, turpentine, tar or shoe polish.
I use the oil free foundation #2, perfect finish loose mineral powder, blush and eye shadow from the holiday makeup compact, black mascara, and Pink Snow Frost Lipstick.

I love what you did with your hair, it’s up and out of your way and it’s cute! So glad you stayed home with your little one. I know on occasion that some parents will bring their sick kids to church, even with a fever, and I am always thankful for the parents who don’t as I don’t want what their child has, lol!

We have a lot of children at our church, so when one child comes sick it normally passes all around. :/ So we try hard to not come and bring our germs to all the other children!

I’m always amazed that my readers are amazed. Lol. There are a lot of things I can’t do since I have straight hair, but I try to be creative when I can. 🙂

Hello Caroline! You’re blog is such a blessing and I enjoy reading it when I get the chance! You have such a sweet spirit. I was just wondering your opinion on head coverings? A couple friends of mine go to a church where the women wear scarves on their heads (just during the service). I don’t wear any sort of head covering at my own church, although I will wear a scarf when I go to their church (out of respect, and I do understand why they do wear them, and where the Bible talks about it. Therefore, I feel that I truly understand it, and not just going along). I was just wondering your opinion, if you have the time to respond. I know you’re a busy mama! 🙂 If anyone else would care to share their opinions, I’d love to here yours! Like I said, my opinion is that I understand both ways, and equally respect those who chose to wear one, and those who don’t. God’s Peace to all.
