Modest Monday and a Link Up!
This weekend was the start of our four Thanksgiving Dinners! We had a church dinner Saturday night, and a family lunch on Sunday. I wore this outfit to our church dinner. I was quite amused when I asked Sean what he thought about the outfit. It was the first time I had paired this all together. He hesitated for a minute, and told me for some reason he kept thinking of a turkey when he looked at me! Haha! I gave him a hard time about it, and told him turkey’s don’t wear pink! 🙂 He told me later that he thinks it is because the pattern on my shirt reminded him of feathers. Hmm…. 🙂
I love the geometric print on this top, and how the whole outfit went well with my brown boots. The skirt is a corduroy skirt that I made with my last pregnancy..or maybe the one before that? 🙂
I’m trying to get creative on how to style my hair as my bangs grow out. Bobby pins are my friends right now. 🙂

Turkey, indeed! 😉 That made me laugh. I looked at your photos for ages to try and figure out what he meant, but…I don’t see it, myself. Perhaps one needs the trained eye of a graphic designer…
I totally think it is is a graphic designer thing. 🙂 He looks at everything that has a pattern through a slightly different perspective than I do!

I love your outfit! I think it makes your tummy look tiny and looks very cheerful. My husband loves pink on me so I often wear it, though it is hard for me, since I feel more comfortable in the more plain colors/styles. I have never been able to pull off the belt above the pregnant belly. It looks great on you!
