I was ever so glad to see Sunday come! It’s been a super busy week of scraping wallpaper off of our new house and I’m using muscles that never get used otherwise, so I’m pretty sore!

This will be a quick Modest Monday post as it’s already a super late evening, and I have a lot going on this week! I’m really hoping to have the wallpaper all finished by the end of this week. Fingers crossed!

What I Wore

Skirt – Honey & Lace

Shirt – Worthington Brand Petite length shirt

(I’m not petite, but my sister talked me into trying some petite length shirts. She said they don’t look as sloppy and I really like it!)

Sandals – I found them on Zulily a few years ago

Necklace – Tassel necklace from JCPenny (similar found here)

Bobby Pin – Currant Bobby Pin from Lilla Rose (These seriously hold all day long!)

Link Up Time!

  1. LOVE your outfit… the colors are so pretty! I also love the hair piece with just a little pop of color to match. Thanks for sharing!

  2. I love the bright, cheery colors in your outfit! Hope you love your new home. Great job putting all that hard work in to update it. It’ll be worth it! 🙂

  3. I love those shirts from Penneys! I’ve had several…they are so comfortable, they don’t wrinkle, and they have a high enough neck I don’t have to wear a tank under.
I guess I’m the opposite, though…I’ve found that since I’m not as skinny as I used to be, I now prefer longer shirts instead of the petite I used to wear. I guess I like my hips more covered now. : ) Your outfit looks great on you!

  4. Caroline,
Your outfit is very pretty, and it looks very natural on you. Don’t you love a cute outfit that doesn’t need a lot of ‘fixing’ to make it suitable?! I do.
If you have a few moments between wallpaper scraping, I was wondering if you could let me know how you all are enjoying your new van? We have 6 going on 7 children, and are considering a Transit. Are you pleased with it? Any pros and cons that have become evident?
    Thank you!

    • Hey! We can’t say enough good things about the Transit van! We keep hoping to make a video about it, but we rave about it to everyone! It drives well, and everyone is really comfortable in it! We have the 12 passenger so we have plenty of space in the back to haul stuff.
