It’s been a long week full of children sick with fevers, but I’m hopeful that we are all over it now! Carrianna pulled out of on Saturday, just in time to attend her orchestra concert. I was going to be sad if she missed it after practicing all year for it!

This is the outfit I wore to their concert, it wasn’t anything terribly fancy, but I nursed Emily quite a bit there and I wanted to be comfortable. The polka dot skirt from Deborah & Co. is super comfortable, and we also have it in a solid color.

Emily just turned 8 months old and her favorite thing ever is to nurse. 🙂 I think she might be nursing more than any of my other babies at this age. I keep telling myself that God must be trying to help keep my milk supply up through all of this, and to just be patient through this season. It really is going by so fast.

Mosiah, Carrianna and Olivia all played in an orchestra concert Saturday night. Olivia is in the beginner Suzuki group, she just started playing a few months ago and loves it! Carrianna and Mosiah are both in book 4 of Suzuki and play in a strings group.

Miss Emily created quite the drama with Mosiah’s cello this past week. He set it down to run to the bathroom while he was practicing and she crawled over and pulled it down. :/ The bridge (the wooden piece the strings are sitting on) snapped into 3 pieces. EEK! Thankfully we brought it into the music store and we had ONE MONTH left of insurance on it, so they are fixing it and we won’t have to pay anything! They gave him a loaner cello which wasn’t nearly as good quality, and he had to make that work for the concert. Life with babies!! 🙂

  1. It’s been a while since any of my children or grandchildren have had concerts. They are all grown up and having babies of their own. I’ll just have to wait for the great-grands to get big enough. 🙂 I always love seeing photos of your beautiful children!
