A Gift Guide for the Homemaker
When asked what I want for Christmas this year my answer is something centered around my home. When we moved to our current rental house Sean was still in college and I was in major survival mode to make it through. I didn’t focus on making this house truly like what I wanted. I’m not going to get new furniture, but after 12 years of marriage it is time to replace some household items that are worn out!
I’ve put together a gift guide for the homemaker, some of them are my favorite items I use and some are things I want myself! 🙂 But before you look through the list, you will want to stop and enter this amazing giveaway!

A Bosch Mixer – I received this as a gift one year and I’m always so grateful for it! I use it every week and love it! If you can only have one mixer this is the one I would suggest! 
  Cookie Dough Scoop – I went several years without a cookie dough scoop and now I wonder how I did! This little tool makes baking cookies go so much faster, plus you get nice, evenly shaped cookies! I also have a larger scoop that I use for muffins.  
Pioneer Woman Cookbook – There are several of these cookbooks published but the first one is still my favorite. I use the mashed potato recipe and her meatball recipe a lot. Actually that sounds good for dinner tonight! 🙂

Say Goodbye to Survival Mode – If you feel like you are barely getting by, this book is a really easy, encouraging read! Crystal Paine shares her story of how she went from barely surviving to living a more intentional life.
Flexi Clips – Busy homemakers like to have their hair out of the way, especially when cooking or on hot days! Give the gift of a flexi clip, it is not only practical but beautiful! I love the Pioneer Woman! I would love her cookbook to add to my collection. Her recipes are simple yet so delicious! She really takes the fear out of making good taking meals for family!
My father was recently disabled and my mom & dad got a little behind on some bills. I would give them the money to help a little bit.
We have had lots of medical costs due to health issues the last few months so this would be such a blessing for our family during the holidays!

Love this list! We also love our flexi clips and have all of the Pioneer Woman cookbooks. Not always the healthiest recipes, but definately delicious. Homemaking 201 was just released (yay!!) and would be a nice gift too.
We are still recovering from a year of unemployment and having a new baby during that time. It is cold where we moved to this time last year and are ALL in need of clothes that fit our family.
This would bless my family by covering our whole Christmas and then some. We have almost all our family birthdays in a month an a half right before Christmas, things can get pretty tight!

This giveaway would bless our family because we have had “a year” financially that has stretched us to trust in The Lord time after time! From the transmission going on a car while on vacation , a car that we needed to sell to buy a bigger vehicle for our expanding family, to parents moving and needing help, to having a baby, to the furnace going out. It has been both sad and comical, because obviously The Lord has been in control and he has a reason for this.

This gift would help us build an emergency fund. We used ours last year on a major surprise house repair and are gazelle intense to put it back.

Oh my, how would this be a blessing? After both cars dying (at the same time!), ER visit and doctor bills (same time as cars!!), this would definitely help out. God is faithful and we have seen our needs met, but how sweet to see a few wants met too.
