It is cold here!! From what I have seen a lot of the USA is having a cold spell right now, except Florida of course. 🙂 I’ve had to work harder on staying bundled up this week. Our house just doesn’t ever feel really warm so I add layers!

It is possible to stay warm in a skirt during the winter months! A maternity skirt and a warm maternity sweater, along with leggings and knee high socks keeps me warm! I’m wearing knee high black socks, with maternity leggings under the knee high socks. It keeps me pretty warm, though I miss my fleece lined leggings. I need to pull out my pair and see if I can still wear them with my pregnant tummy. 🙂 None of the other leggings I’ve tried have been as warm as those.

If you are having trouble staying warm while wearing a skirt, you might read through a post I wrote last year about how to stay warm and modest in a skirt.

Dangle Flexi Clip for an elegant, easy way to pull your hair back! Dangle flexi clips are so pretty! I love all my flexi clips though…I’m not sure I’m brave enough to post a current picture of my basket holding all my clips. 😉

  1. When I was pregnant in the Winter one of my favorites to keep me warm was a long denim Motherhood skirt. Thanks for hosting the link up. I look froward to visiting during nap time.

  2. I find that I can wear silky long underwear (like Cuddle Duds, but the knock-off cheaper brands work, too) fit me long into my pregnancies. They’re one of the few super-stretchy fabrics that are also incredibly warm. And as a bonus, skirts slide down over them instead of clinging in odd places.

  3. Thank you for all the tips on how to stay warm in skirts! It is -8 degrees here this morning! Brrr. My sweet husband ordered some organic Christmas tea from the bulk herb store for us to try, and I am eager to try it! Because it is so cold, it won’t arrive a moment too soon 🙂 Hoping everyone out there stays warm.

  4. I have been praying myself for fleece lined maternity leggings this week! I would love to find some good ones for my little girls too.
