My Homeschool Schedule {And a Link Up!}

I have people write me and ask for information on schedules. They want to see my homeschool schedule, my chore charts, my blogging schedules. I have to admit I chuckle whenever I receive those requests because scheduling is not my strength. I desperately want to be a scheduled person, but I also desperately struggle to be strict in my routines each day. It’s something I’m working on though.

When we started our new school year I did sit down and create a schedule for our school days. This has been an invaluable help! While we don’t always follow it, at least I have a routine in place and I know what comes next. It has been a great help with keeping three children going with different school books to work in at the same time.

You will notice that I don’t have my two year old or my baby on our schedule. I pull out different toys for our two year old to play with during school time, and our seven month old baby takes a long morning nap still.

  1. Thanks for sharing your day. We’re unschoolers in Australia and love hearing about other homeschoolers’ lives and meeting them as we travel!

  2. Caroline, did you already share with us about that grammar dvd program that you are using? I would love to know what program is so I can look into it. Grammar (ok, english in general!) is the most dreaded subject to teach at our house 🙂
