It’s here!!! I’ve been so excited about this ebook. It’s been hard to keep quiet about it! “The Pursuit of Motherhood” is an eBook that a group of ladies collaborated on to write, and I was invited to be one of the authors! Each of us ladies took one or two chapters on topics we felt qualified to write about, and together it has turned into a beautiful and most encouraging 153 page ebook!

Growing up I had dreams of being a mother of many children. It was my heart’s desire to bring up children that would serve the Lord. However, once I started having children the reality of the work involved in achieving this vision set in. Motherhood is not for the faint of heart! It takes much dedication, prayer, and a vision that carries you through the rough days. I’ve found it very important to surround myself with encouraging friends, as well as encouraging and instructional books.

That’s why I’m so excited about “The Pursuit of Motherhood” eBook. The authors in this book are a mixture of younger moms and older Titus 2 mothers. It’s a perfect blend of mothers that are in the battle presently, and those who have some older children who encourage us to keep going!

I wrote a chapter called “The Modest Mom” (imagine that!) where I write about teaching our daughters modesty, offer some modest outfit suggestions, and share a list of my personal modesty standards. I wrote it not to set a strict list of rules, but to write about a topic that is near and dear to my heart.

“Breastfeeding and Child Attachment” was the other chapter I wrote. I’ve breastfed all five of my children and finally felt qualified to write about this subject. 🙂

Finally, “The Weary Mom” was a chapter I contributed to. Whether you have physical or mental fatigue, the thoughts I shared are for you. Mothering brings a strain on us, and many of us become weary both in body and spirit. This eBook will encourage you to keep pressing onward!

There are 19 chapters total, and I’m sure you will recognize and love many of the other authors that are in this eBook! Stop and grab a cup of tea and sit and be encouraged as you browse through this eBook.

    1. I’m especially interested in the Weary Mom chapter. With 3 boys under 4, I feel like weary is my middle name these days.

  1. I would really like to read the chapters on “The Weary Mom”, because I feel weary very often and wondering what advice is given. Thanks!

  2. I would love to win this book! I am looking forward to reading the chapter “Mothering Through the Little Years.” I am currently in that phase of motherhood and find many challenges and joys throughout.

  3. All the chapters look beneficial. At this stage in my life (mother of 8 with #9 due at the end of the year) I think the chapters on the weary mom apply to my life on many occasions!

  4. I think it’s appropriate that ‘The Wise Mom’ is the first chapter. Wisdom should be highly prized and sought after among moms. Without it, we can do all the reading in the world to no avail. I’d love to read that first chapter!!

  5. I’ve been very interested in the Lbri makeup and the flexi clips, but haven’t been able to justify the expense so far. And I love a good book for moms! It would be so cool to win this!

  6. As I am unmarried and childless right now, I would find that the chapter on Leaving a Legacy would still greatly apply to me right now! As well as the one on the Working Mother as that may apply to me in the future someday!

  7. I would really like to read the chapter called “Leaving a Legacy” because I truly have come to believe that when we parent we should do so with even our childrens children in mind. We have the ablility to affect so much, I don’t thing we as mothers have a clue as to how much and how far spread what we do now with our kids can go (both good and bad).

  8. With 3 little girls 28 months and younger, I would love to read the “mothering through the little years”. I would love to read the whole book, though, as I’m all by myself and often feel as though I don’t know what I’m doing or how to correct what I’m doing.

  9. I would enjoy reading the Work at Home Mom chapter and also the Weary Mom chapters. But of course all of them sound wonderful!

  10. I would be most interested in reading chapters 7 and 8, as we have long endured the infertility road and are working on the adoption journey.

  11. Chapter 15:Raising Real Men is a chapter I’m most interested to read. There are so many men that need that spiritual guidance and it helps if as mothers, we are knowledgeable on how to assist them for their families to come.

  12. Most all of them would be pertinent, however right now the Leaving a Legacy chapter is the chapter I would most like to read.

  13. I’d like to read chapter five, The Healthy Mom. I’ve really been trying to improve my health lately. I’ve quit sodas, I’m eating much healthier and I’m exercising regularly. I’ve lost quite a bit of weight.
