These pictures show just how devoted I am to this Modest Monday link up post! It was snowing the whole time we were at church, and when we got home it still was snowing. I thought it would be pretty to have the snowflakes in the pictures, so outside we went!
My pink wool jacket is very warm, so I can only wear it during cold winter days. Otherwise I’ll be smothering in church and will be distracted from the message and just count down the minutes until the sermon is over. Which would be a very bad thing. π
My husband teased me the entire day I wore this outfit that I looked like Sarah Palin. He said it was the bangs and the pink jacket. I don’t foresee any political plans in my future, so you don’t need to worry.
I was trying to grow my bangs out but I couldn’t take it and chopped them off last night. I prefer bangs, my husband prefers me a little more without them. He was sweet and told me to do whatever I wanted with them. About an hour later the scissors came out and the snipping began.
What I Wore
Skirt – The long black skirt was sold at Deborah & Co. a year ago.
Jacket – I found this pink jacket at a thrift store. I was shopping with my sister who adores pink, but graciously told me to buy it instead of her. Sisters are the best. π
Black Flats – Thrift Store
Earrings – Carolina earrings from Mialisa
Flexi Clip – Lilla Rose
Makeup – L’BRI all natural Aloe Vera Based skincare and makeup.

You are looking gorgeous in this outfit. I just love the bright pink with the black – a favourite combination of mine:)
Hi Caroline,
nice jacket – but didn’t you freeze your feet off in these shoes?
Greetings from Germany
Salo
If I was outside for a long time I would have been frozen! I just walked in and out of church in those shoes, and then ran outside to take these pictures. π
Love the color of your jacket. I think bright colors on grey, winter days are so refreshing. Thank you for hosting the link up!
Beautiful outfit! Thanks for the party and do have a great week!
Blessings π
Absolutely love that jacket. I usually only wear pinks and purples with grey and black and white- I need one! π Beautiful color on you Caroline!
Now that is my style of clothes. LOVE that PINK and the black too. Which skirt is that? I tried to find it on their website but couldn’t tell which it was. I love aline.
We used to sell the skirt but we don’t have them in stock any longer. :/ I really like it!
Lovely! But maybe some black boots instead of flats, considering the weather? LOL!
I was just ready for a change. I’ve worn boots all winter long. π
I hear ya!!! I LOVE my boots, but I’m looking forward to flip flop weather!
One of the things I enjoy most about your posts of clothing is that you mix the finer things that you’ve bought new with fine thrift store finds.
These days, few of us can afford to purchase all finer things new.
