It feels like the summer is flying by! This week Mosiah and Carrianna are in string camp every day from 8:30-3:00, so they will be gone all day, and everyone else except Emily is at vacation church school until noon. That means I have the mornings just with Emily! I’ve been folding laundry, doing my Faster Way to Fat Loss workout this morning and trying to purge some stuff in our house.

I’m really motivated right now to purge our house before our next school year starts. I want more time for our family instead of cleaning or battling stuff! So that’s my big project right now, as well as trying to get the books ordered for our next school year using A Gentle Feast curriculum.

Meal planning is also on my to-do list this week. I’ll be using our Well Ordered Kitchen Planner and the grocery shopping list (you can get the free printable here!).  I’m trying to work on reducing our grocery bill. If you have any ideas, I’d love for you to leave a comment!

Our 4th of July was a success, even though we had around 140 people there and it started pouring on us during the patriotic service we were having! We quickly picked up all the chairs and crammed into my mother in law’s 3 car garage and continued the service there. Overall it was a fun day though! I totally crashed the next two days, but I’m back to normal today.

That’s it for the news of this week!

  1. I appreciate seeing all of your patriotic pictures–so cute!

Glad you survived your big bash on the 4th.

And thank you for hosting another link-up. Looking forward to the ideas, but trying to muster up the energy to try some of them! Ever feel that way?

    Blessings for your week!
