Modest Monday and a Link Up!
Happy Monday! The weeks just fly by, and now that we are officially starting the holiday season of Thanksgiving and Christmas I have a feeling they will fly by even faster!
I’ve managed to slow down long enough to plan out a series here on the blog that is appropriate for this time of year. If you come back later this week I will start the series, I can’t wait to share it with you!
I wore this outfit to church on Sunday. I don’t wear denim very often to Sunday morning church, but I thought this looked dressy enough.
What I Wore:
Skirt: My Mother in Law found it at a garage sale and gave it to me
Denim Jacket: Ann Taylor – Thrift Store
Blue Knit Top: My closet 🙂 I’ve had it for a while and I don’t remember where I got it
Black Shoes: My closet (I’m on the lookout for some blue shoes, but I honestly don’t get out and shop very often! Other mothers with little children can probably relate)
Earrings: A gift from an online friend

Oh I think it is really pretty. I think the skirt and top dressed up the denim. I am from Texas so denim has always been a staple I really know how to make it look less denimy. LOL. I am so glad to find you again. I always enjoyed your ‘What I wore’ posts. I love your blog.

I also like your hair style and wondered if you had a back veiw photo? Or would you be willing to do your hair the same way another day and share photos and or instructions? I find that hair styles that sweep hair up from my face like you have done above suit me much better than when my hair is just pulled back, and I am on the lookout for some new styles. I have been doing a variation of the French Braided Chignon style you posted and often get positive comments on it.
