What a beautiful spring and summer outfit! I know a lot of moms have told me they are not brave enough to wear white. I love to wear white, I just always keep a bottle of Shout at home to put on a dirty spot that happens when a child sits on my lap. 🙂 And I don’t wear white skirts at home for everyday, they are for mostly for church.

In addition to the staining, I don’t have a white skirt because I can’t seem to find one that’s modest. One time I bought one(thankfully thrifted) and wore it a few times. Then one time I was standing in the doorway with the sun streaming in, and my husband asked me, “Um, did you forget your slip?” And I was wearing one! And the skirt was a tiered skirt with multiple layers! I quickly put on a black slip under my white slip and went to church feeling all bulky, and SO embarrassed that someone might have seen through my skirt earlier that day. No more white skirts for me. I do wear white sweaters, though.

These dresses are SO gorgeous, and very much my style. I have a similar mint green shrug! I have two children and one on the way, and I have 3 white skirts in my closet! Bleach works wonders! I have one lacy skirt that is a very tricky see-through. It had a very short underskirt, which I ended up cutting out of it, and wearing it with a slip, and an underskirt that I cut out of another old long skirt, complete with the stretchy waist band.
