Modest Monday and a Link Up!
Saturday my husband took all the children but Deborah to his Mom’s house to help her for the day, and I ran errands and went to a homeschool book sale with my sister. I found some good books at the sale, so I came home happy. 🙂
I thought this outfit looked summery, which was appropriate since it officially just turned Summer!
My hair is a little wind blown here! 🙂 I did two smaller braids at the top, and then did a regular braid at the bottom and twisted it up using a large multi-colored stone cluster Flexi Clip.
I normally don’t wear wedges, but I found a pair at Kohls last year really cheap on clearance. 🙂
I love my new skirt! It is lighter weight which is nice for hot days!
Deborah wanted in on the photo shoot as well! 🙂 This is why I love my flexi clips so much, I also have a younger child on my lap or a baby up close to my hair. The clips keep my hair out of my babies reach, which is so nice!
What I Wore
Striped Maxi Skirt – Deborah & Co.
Lace Tee – Deborah & Co.
Cardigan – (similar found here)
White Wedges – Kohls (similar found here)
Flexi Clip – Multi-Colored Stone Cluster size large
I’m delighted to announce that we now have striped maxi skirts and striped maxi dresses in stock at Deborah & Co.
They are available in Coral, Teal, and Black in sizes small-xx-large! The material is lighter weight so it is nice for summer, but it is not paper thin like some skirts I’ve seen. The band has a little bit of stretch to it, so I think it would work nicely through the first part of pregnancy. We also offer custom hemming on these skirts for an additional cost.
The Mackenzie Maxi Dress is a wonderful summer dress, or layer it with a cardigan in the fall! Finally, a maxi dress that has a higher top and some sleeves! We also offer custom hemming on this dress. I think adding a belt to this dress would be lovely.
