Last week was wonderful. My husband has been home on Christmas break from college, and he was a sweetheart and got all our laundry caught up for me. We have enjoyed more family time and I’ve gotten more rest. I’ve been able to focus on homeschooling more, and our 5 year old daughter started reading some stories on her own this week. She was one happy girl!

It’s always a chore for me to teach reading, but I’ve enjoyed using All About Reading for the first time. I always start to despair and look around for different curriculum right before it clicks and the child starts reading! We still have a long ways to go, but I’m thankful for the progress we have made.
I’ve had requests to show some pictures of everyday outfits, so here is an outfit I wore on Saturday. If I look cold, it’s because I was freezing without a coat on outside! 🙂
I wear this denim skirt like some people wear their favorite pair of jeans. You can find me with this skirt on at least 3 times a week. If you want in on a secret….we are working on manufacturing this skirt so it should be available to sell in a few months! I’m pretty excited about it! This was our best seller skirt when it was available a few years ago.
I worked on cleaning the house Saturday, and made Christmas cutout cookies. This is my favorite apron to wear! It’s from Mary & Martha.
I love my Winter Wonder Flexi Clip. I wear a medium to pull my hair back in a ponytail like this. Such a simple yet pretty way to keep your hair out of your way during the day!
A little patch of snow was left! We had just a dusting of snow but it was enough to bring cheers of joy from my boys. 🙂
