Modest Monday and a Link Up!
It snowed on Sunday! I had to stay home and rest while Sean and the older ones went to church. We snapped this quick picture of our oldest daughter to share. I love this outfit on her, and she gets excited when I set it out for her to wear to church. She is not allowed to wear this maxi skirt for every day wear, so it makes it more exciting when she does wear it. 🙂
We use an x-small flexi clip to secure her cardigan when she wears this outfit. She has so much fun picking out which clip she wants. I totally approved of her choice of a snowflake. 🙂
Carrianna will be 7 next month, and the topic of modesty is coming up more and more. Certain things she picks out to wear I have to explain why I don’t think it is modest. Lots of training going on, and I just sit back and wonder how my mom did such a great job in passing on her beliefs in modesty to her daughters. It is humbling to be a mother. You have one chance at it, and want to do the very best you can!

One of my older daughters wore a Maxi skirt in the print as your daughter’s shrug. She had a nasty fall at soccer that banged up her leg and the skirt covered it all perfectly, lol!

I love the sweet valentine flexi! Are there any pictures or examples of someone wearing the hairband? Even if not this one, another one? I’d like to see how it fits… I’m particular with headbands, as most give me headaches – any testimonies to these? TIA! 🙂

I love the outfit your daughter is wearing. I wasn’t taught modesty growing up, but my daughter and I are learning together. Praise God that we have some beautiful examples of modest ladies, young and older, in our church family. I love the new denim skirt! Going to check it out right now!
