I’m not one to get the all the latest hair products to try. For one, it’s expensive. I also don’t have time to learn all the new hair tools out there.
I mean, I feel good if I get a shower in every 3 days!

That’s why I put off getting this Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer & Volumizer. I kept seeing it pop up on blogs for over a year, and thought it looked good but I was worried that it would take absolutely forever to use, and that it would tangle my hair.
Finally, I put it on my Christmas list and received it.
It has far exceeded my expectations for how well it could work!
The Revlon hair dryer has been out on the market for a few years now, and I keep hearing rave reviews about it, for good reason! I can dry my hair in less than 10 minutes using this hair dryer, and it looks full and healthy.
When I pulled it out of the box, it was bigger than I was expecting. It’s a chunky hair brush, but I’ve found it easy to hold and use. There are 2 heat settings, high or low. I’ve never tried the low setting, the high is definitely hot but not burning hot. It has 1100 watts which is definitely less than my Conair hair dryer that has 1875 watts.
I never use this on dripping wet hair. Since you are brushing your hair and drying it at the same time, it’s always best to avoid doing that on super wet hair so you have less broken ends. The quickest way to dry your hair is to use a hair towel that is actually absorbent. The best hair towel I’ve personally seen is from Lilla Rose. It’s a bamboo towel that is extremely soft and absorbs water amazingly well. It’s 20% off through today only!
I normally keep my hair up while I get dressed for the day and then take it down to dry it. This towel absorbs water so well you don’t have to leave it up for 20 minutes. I aim for it to be up for 10 minutes before I turn on the hair dryer.
The Revlon dryer has two sides, a flat top and round sides. I think that is what makes this work so well. The sides of the brush have nylon bristles with ball tips, while the round parts of the brush have a combination of boar bristles and nylon bristles, which gives you the benefit of two types of brushes in one. There are open space in the dryer which allows air to flow through.
I’ve never been able to master a true blowout on my hair, using a regular hair dryer and a round brush. I can do it on someone else, but not on me. This has now given me that blowout look, while not killing my arm while I do it!
After I’m done, I always make sure to spray Rosewater on my hair, to give it some nourishment and hydration. I love this Rosewater, it smells amazing and it’s so good for your hair and skin! The Rosewater is also 20% off through today only!
I created a video for you to see exactly how I do this. The only thing I’ve changed since I filmed the video is that I try to primarily put the brush under my hair, not over it. That helps lift it even more.
I was shocked to find that my hair is not frizzy when I’m done. It’s just a smooth, sleep blowout. With 25,000 ratings and it being 4 ½ star on Amazon, I’d say other people love it just as much as I do!
Don’t forget to shop the Lilla Rose sale! Everything on the whole website is 20% off, plus orders of $40 or more ship FREE, through Monday, February 3rd only!
