Modest Monday and a link up!
We were out of town this weekend visiting family. It was our last Christmas gathering with extended family that had to be postponed because we were so sick over Christmas! It helped stretch Christmas out for our children, which was a good thing. 🙂
I wore my Evy’s Tree hoodie on Saturday, and it was so comfortable. This is the nicest hoodie I’ve ever worn. It is seriously nothing like you will find in the store. So soft, so warm, and the fit was excellent. I’ve long admired their hoodies, so I was excited to finally have a chance to try one. I especially love the company because it is run by a stay at home mom, just like me.
Right now you can get 50% off everything in their store, as they are making room for their new inventory!

This is pretty much how I felt all weekend. Tired. My Dr. is adjusting my thyroid medicine and I’m really hoping it gives me more energy soon! I was grateful for time for naps and sleeping in while we were away.

Love your denim skirt. So adorable and all your lila rose clips are so cute I might just order one for me…

Such a cute outfit! I really love your hair in a side braid, too cute! Love the ruffled hoodie too. I love hoodies, they keep me so warm and comfy! 😉 Thanks for hosting today.
Very cute outfit! I like how the denim skirt flairs. I also have thyroid issues. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in my 20’s after a year of trying to get pregnant. Anyway, most of the time I feel good, but I understand the sluggishness every once in a while. I can had a few good days of lots of energy only to be followed up by one of being tired. But two years ago I was also told I was low on Vit D and now that I’ve been working on that and also Super B complex Vitamins – I can tell a big difference in my overall feeling of energy. Just thought I’d share in case it might be helpful to you or someone else out there. Have a good Monday!
Hi,
I have a question about wearing boots with skirts. I wear skirts 99% of the time and have no issue with warmth issues during the winter, but I do struggle to find boots that look nice with them. I find that most boots, especially taller ones, are designed to have pant legs put inside them and so are quite large (wide) at the legs. Since I am fairly small boned to begin with, this results in flapping boot legs…which both look and feel very frumpy and unflattering. Any suggestions on what kind of boots are more conducive for small boned, skirt wearers?
Thanks!
I like your hair like that!
Your hoodie is super cute…love the ruffles!
Caroline, I do appreciate the influence that you have as a Christian and stayhome mom, and I always look forward for you inspiration on modest Monday, and I like that you try to support or promote other business. I do like the hoodie you are wearing but when I went and look at the website I was so shocked that you will send us to look at their website I know and see that the hoodie is modest, but honestly I don’t feel comfortable visiting that website in front of my husband or kids when the model wears leather tight pants or short shorts.
Claudia,
Hello! I was really surprised by your comments because I didn’t remember seeing anything like that on the website. When I clicked over I realized they just changed all their pictures to reflect their spring line. I’m not promoting the tight leather pants or really short shorts, but the hoodies can be really cute with a skirt. 🙂 Sadly, it’s very, very difficult to shop online and not see immodest outfits mixed in with the modest.
