Modest Monday and a Link Up!
What a week. I feel like I always say that, but this week was truly a week to top all the recent weeks!
One day everything is fine, the next day it all changes. Sophia went outside to play Thursday afternoon and ended up breaking her foot! She was going down our driveway on a scooter and fell off and somehow broke her foot.
We are incredibly blessed with a good doctor that will treat smaller breaks in his office, so he sent us for x-rays and then wrapped it up as he said it was still too swollen to cast it. We went back on Friday and it was again too swollen, so we are going back Tuesday to get the cast on. Hopefully then she can start walking on it, I’ve had to carry her everywhere this weekend. 🙂
My sister was so sweet and brought her a Peppa Pig Color Wonder set that has kept her really busy, and two Peppa Pig DVD’s. We definitely have had more screen time and movie time the last few days, just to keep her still on the couch with her foot propped up!
I’m wearing my new cardigan from Stitch Fix again. It’s super comfortable!
