Modest Monday and a Link Up!
We are on vacation in Florida right now, which is why this post is getting up late today. We spent the morning at the beach, and at Walmart. Sadly, meals still need to be fixed on vacation. 😉 It’s going to be a fun week spent with my sister and her husband (my husband’s brother!), and my mother in law.
I’ll share pictures of our family vacation next week. We get home and start school, which we all have mixed emotions about. I’m working on writing up some review posts on curriculum, and also doing my yearly huge post sharing exactly what we are doing for each school year. A blogger never truly goes on vacation, so I’m enjoying sitting here at the table writing, while the guys play a game by me. 🙂
I love wearing these navy blue earrings, and hope to get a new pair for fall from Nickel & Suede.
I pulled my hair back into a ponytail with a flexi clip (using a size medium clip, most people use an x-small or small size).
Check back on the blog for some school posts this week!
What I Wore
Skirt – Denim skirt from Inherit Company
Top – Striped shirt from ThredUP (Madewell brand)
Sandals – JCPenny
Flexi Clip – Medium Clip from Lilla Rose
Earrings – Nickel & Suede
Link Up Time!
Please feel free to share posts about anything concerning being a godly, feminine woman. Topics include: modesty, being a wife, mother, homeschooler, homemaker, cooking, sewing, etc.

Have fun on vacation! You look so cute. Those are leather earrings, right? I have some and I love them! They are featherlight!
Hope you’re having fun. I love that hair piece!
I love the earrings! Have fun in Florida.
I can’t wait for your curriculum posts! You always have the best curriculum posts, and I get so many ideas from them!!
Hope you have a great vacation!
Sounded like you had a fun summer! Love your style!
You are brainwashed and you are indoctrinating your children. I am so, so sad for those kids. I hope they learn critical thinking skills as they age, so they can actually think for themselves.
I’m sorry you feel this way! I’m raising happy children who are definitely thinking for themselves! 🙂
What happens if one of your children is gay? Or doesn’t believe in god? Or if they are female – they want a career, no children, and refuse to answer to a man? Are they taught science and evolution? Or are they presented with the Bible as fact? I am not saying to be confrontational. It truly saddens me when children are homeschooled for the sole purpose of indoctrination, because this is often how their parents were raised. It’s a cycle of brainwashing and abuse.
I miss Modest Mondays! Are you coming back? Hope you had a wonderful vacation!
Yes, I will be coming back!
