I can’t tell you how much I love Sundays right now. All week long I feel so yucky. I’m exhausted, I wear paint clothes, no makeup, and I eat way to much pizza and junk food. This house project! But then comes Sunday. We try really hard to keep Sunday set apart as the Lord’s Day, and we don’t do work on Sunday unless we have to. I get to curl my hair, wear nice clothes, put makeup on, I take a long nap when I get home from church and feel normal again!

I love using the Conair hot rollers on Sunday morning to curl my hair. As soon as I get up I plug them in, so they can be warming up while I get children up and ready, and get dressed. After I get dressed I put my hair in curlers (it really takes just a few minutes) and then I put my makeup on. I used to think it took forever to use hot rollers, but once I got used to using them I realized it only adds a few extra minutes on your morning routine.

I wanted to put my hair up before evening church, so I used the Tudor Rose clip along with the hair stick. Lilla Rose is releasing quite a few new leather clips that I’m so excited about!

It’s our final week to work on the house before we move in. Actually, we are still not sure if we can actually move in on Saturday, but we need to be out of our rental house so our belongings will be moved in. It’s the week of finishing our wood floors, so I’m hoping the smell will not last a long time!

  1. All that hard work is going to make you enjoy the house that much more. I know it will be a great place to raise your family. Blessings as you close in on it and thanks for hosting.

  2. I absolutely love the dress that you are wearing in this picture! The length of it is especially flattering on you. I also love your tip about hot rollers. I am currently growing my hair out again after having it short for almost 2 years. I have poker straight hair and I have never figured out a way to curl it. Perhaps I will have to try hot rollers after it is long enough.
