Pink sweater with chambray skirt from eShakti

I’ve worn this skirt on the blog before, but I love the versatility of the skirt. You can create so many different looks with this skirt!

Chambray skirt with pink sweater

I wore an Undercover Mama tank under the sweater so I could easily nurse. I didn’t like the look of the sweater unbuttoned so as soon as pictures were over I buttoned the rest of the sweater. πŸ™‚

We went with some friends for a picnic after church Sunday. It’s always nice to visit with other moms who are in the same season of life I am, they can easily relate to the ups and downs of motherhood.

I twisted my hair and put it in a braid with an XL Flexi Clip from Lilla Rose!

Since I knew we were going to be out in the heat, I made sure and put my hair up for the day! I twisted it and used an XL Flexi Clip to keep the braid up all day.

Another week has come…time to dive into school, nurse the baby, laundry, nurse the baby, making meals, and did I mention nursing the baby? πŸ™‚ I nurse on demand, but she does a pretty good job of taking naps during school time. πŸ™‚

  1. Thanks for another terrific party! I LOVE the flexi-clip! Looking for something to use in my hair for my daughter’s upcoming wedding and I think that’s just the ticket πŸ™‚

    have a great week!!

  2. Thanks so much for hosting! I noticed you mentioned school. I need to go through and find your home school posts, and read them. We started home school last Monday, it’s our first year (5th grade), so I’m curious as to see what others do, and how it’s working for them. Have a great week!

  3. Love the outfit especially the pretty skirt! Saturday I found a modest summer dress for a dollar at a garage sale! I paired it with t shirt and a short sleeve cardigan and sandals for church! Don’t you just love when you can find attractive modest clothes for a buck?

    Thanks so much,
