Our Back To School Pictures for 2015-2016 School Year!
We started school in July, which honestly feels like forever ago already! It’s been an interesting few weeks…the children were beyond elated to start school back up again. Now I have to remind them of that once in awhile. Isn’t that how it always goes? 🙂
I’ve had my homeschool mommy meltdown, picked myself back up again, and I’m working on figuring out better systems to have. With a 4 month old baby and a 3 year old, I’m not set on a strict schedule. Life works around them, especially the baby. I’m thankful she naps well. We have to work on keeping our talkative, chatty little 3 year old girl quiet during school time. 😉
Back to School with six children!
We have a sixth grader! I’m so thankful that he has learned to be an independent learner, and that he loves to read!
Our 4th grader adores baseball. He is all boy, and still loves army soldiers, toy guns and swords. He is more the typical boy in school, he loves to stand up to do his work instead of sitting at his desk. 🙂 I’m thankful that he loves to read as well!
My little girl is in second grade! It’s not been the easiest journey teaching her to read, but I’m thrilled that she is doing really good now, and actually wants to learn. She finally is seeing the wonderful world that will open up to her when she can sit and read a book. Right now she says she wants to be a nurse, a shop store owner (I wonder where she got that from!), and a mommy. I love listening to her dreams!
My 4th Kindergarten child! I miss the time I used to have for Kindergarten age. Olivia is excited about doing school, so I’m trying to keep up with her pace! She is starting to learn how to read this year, which is always super exciting when it clicks!
Homeschooling can be fun, but also crazy! This was our silly back to school picture we took, but it really does a good job showing what some days feel like. 😉
I’ll be sharing our curriculum choices over the coming week!
If you need back to school signs, you can use the ones in these pictures! They are available for free to download and print out here.Â

I LOVE your silly back to school picture. So great!
Thanks!!
The crazy silly back to school picture is so fun!
Thank you! 🙂
I LOVE y’alls “silly” picture! That’s hilarious! ^.^ 😀
Wishing you well in your school year. And that picture is PERFECT!
Thank you! 🙂 I hope you have a great school year also!
We have used these back to school signs every year since you made them available. Thank you!! Since we have only girls, my girls were hoping that there would be other “girly” options. My oldest thought maybe something to do with horses! Or a different princess crown! I know that beggars can’t be choosers! And we do appreciate all the hard work that your husband put into creating them, so this is just an idea.
