I’ve just discovered an easy way to save time in the kitchen and I can’t wait to share it with you.

The Grocery Shrink Plus Menu plan!

This weekly menu plan provides you with breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack ideas for all seven days of the week. The best part is that they are healthy, easy to fix, and they taste delicious! I know Angela personally, so I was thrilled when I heard she was starting this weekly menu plan. Every meal I’ve had from Angela’s kitchen has tasted delicious, so I knew her recipe plans would be great.

The meal plans are based on items you should already have in your pantry, plus a list of items that will need to be picked up – fresh vegetables, cheese and meat. The menus and shopping list is broken down to family sizes of either 2,4,8, or 12 members. There are even options for gluten free, dairy free, or for mamas trying to shed a few pounds. I love the shopping list that is broken down into categories for easy shopping at the store.

Angela puts an immense amount of effort into the menu plans each week. She even includes tutorials in how to make one extra item each week-greek yogurt, artisan bread, mixes, ect.

I had never considered paying for someone to send me weekly menus, but after receiving her menu plans in my inbox I’m not sure I’ll ever do anything different! At just $5.00 a month, the money is well worth the time I will save wondering what I’m going to fix for dinner that night.

The menus go out on Fridays and start on Sundays. That gives you Saturday to shop for the week ahead.

If you struggle with meal planning, I’d really encourage you to try one month out and see what you think. It’s not a pricey investment at $5.00. You can sign up here for a month.

Angela has offered to give one of you a six month subscription to The Grocery Shrink Plus menu! To enter, use the rafflecopter form below.

  1. I have been purchasing the Grocery Shrink Plus menus and I think they are great! I utilize the gluten free options and I am easily able to further adapt the recipes to use the particular gluten-free flours that I prefer. Overall, the menus keep me on task and take the stress out of planning meals. When I have tried menu planning in the past, I just felt overwhelmed by the sheer number of potential recipes in my cookbooks that I could use and my grocery bill would alway increase rather than decrease. I would definitely recommend this service for busy families OR singles (like me)!

  2. I looked at the sample, and it looked great. I’d like to see a little more, though. I’m curious if the ingredients are usually the kinds of things that we can get here? From what I saw, only Greek yogurt and blueberries could be a problem, and those weren’t essential.

    • I think most of the ingredients are pretty standard. She actually shows you how to make Greek yogurt if you want to, otherwise you can just use regular yogurt.

  3. I missed the contest, but I did have a question about the menus for anyone who has used them. Looking at her sample there seemed to be a lot of bread baking (ie homemade bagels and crescent rolls just for one day). I don’t own a stand mixer, and my hand mixer only has regular beaters and not dough hooks. As yummy as things sound, not all that practical to try and do by hand when I have a toddler to take care of too. So basically, how necessary is a mixer to the recipes?

    • Angela has said you can either make these things by hand, or just purchase them at the store. So you wouldn’t have to make the bread items.

  4. I want to sign up for the menu plans, but I don’t quite understand the payment system. How will I be charged? And how can I unsubscribe if I decide to do that; I don’t want to be stuck paying $5 a month if it does not work out for me!

  5. Hi Jess, you sign up for the menu plans through letter.ly. They use Amazon for their payments. You are charged $5 on a month by month basis. If you want to unsubscribe it’s as easy as hitting unsubscribe at the end of your last letter from me. The subscription ends immediately but if you unsub in the middle of the month you won’t receive a refund for remainder of the month. That shouldn’t be a problem though, 1 week of menu’s from me is worth a lot more than the monthly subscription.

  6. Thank you so much for this review! I subscribed to the menu last week and I have to say…I LOVE IT!!!!!! I usually menu plan on my own but I currently work full time (hopefully that will change some day) and I have so many other things I would rather spend my time on. I love having the action plan so I know what needs to be done ahead of time. This has been such a blessing! And the recipes are so good! I found out this week that I really like enchiladas. I’d never had them before. I cannot say enough good things. I’m spreading the word to all of my friends.
