Modest Monday and a Link Up!

It has been a super busy week! Today is my oldest son’s 10th birthday, I now have a child with double digits! 🙂 They are all growing up so fast, I find it exciting and sad at the same time.

We had their birthday party Saturday, and I ran errands all day Friday, and had company over for dinner that night. Earlier in the week we had homeschool co-op, violin lessons, and our oldest daughter goes to an evening class for girls. I’m hoping for a quieter week, but I will be out of town at a blogging retreat over the weekend, so I doubt it will happen!

Modest Monday Fall Outfit I can really tell an improvement in my complexion since I started using the aloe vera based skincare line from L’BRI! I’m very, very pleased with it. I also use the masque once or twice a week, and the facial scrub as needed. You can get samples of the skincare set and just pay shipping if interested.

  1. Happy birthday to your son! Our youngest will be 21 on his next birthday and our oldest just got married a few weeks ago. This just seems unreal to me. I don’t know how it all happened, lol!

You look lovely as usual and I love the ruffles! Thanks for hosting.

  2. I know what you mean…time passes so quickly, and even though we squeeze the moments for all they are worth, we are powerless to make them last. God sent us one precious son after 12 1/2 years of longing for a child of our own. He will be 13 on the day after Christmas. I can’t believe how quickly time is passing, and the baby for whom we waited so long will soon be a teenager! God is so good, and every day is a true blessing from Heaven. Being his Mama is the sweetest gift. I love coming to your blog every Monday! I always find encouragement here. Thank you for all you do! Love, Cheryl

  3. You look darling as always! The skirt makes me smile; I had several bias cut plaid maxi skirts last time they were all the rage. They say if you wore a style ‘last time’ you shouldn’t wear it again, but I say why not in this case?

Only lipstick? You are truly a natural beauty.

Happy Birthday to your double-digit boy!

  4. I really like the sweater! I’ve been looking for something just like in navy to wear over a maxi dress this winter! This gives me hope that the style I’m looking for does exist! 🙂

  5. You are one busy and productive mama! I always enjoy coming over for a visit to your wonderful blog! If you are still linking up your posts, consider yourself invited once again! I have missed seeing your entries.
Also, you are so naturally fresh and lovely…Blessings, Carolyn!
