My favorite Homemaking video is on sale today! This has truly blessed me, but not only that, it has humbled me many times. I’ve heard my children say more than once that they wish we had a house like Jennifer Ross. Ouch! They have watched this DVD with me, and my 5 year old daughter adores Jennifer Ross and her sweet spirit. I’m thankful for her example of how to keep a house, and her passion for homemaking and being a godly wife and mother. I think every mother and young girl should watch this!

I wanted to share this encouraging post from Sally Clarkson that was published on her blog today. It really sank deep into my heart, and was something I needed to read.

“…My adult-aged children and I often work with teen and college age groups. Last Spring, I was speaking to a group of young women and asked them to tell me their impression of godly women. Their answers were the same: boring, legalistic, frumpy, quiet and disengaged.

Motherhood is such a demanding call and we do have so many tasks to complete. But all of our work will be in vain if we do not seek to show our children, in our home, the reality of God’s joy, love, creativity and life. And most of these young women said they got this impression from their mom’s lives!”
