Children Are Blessings From God!

Baby Girl

It’s bittersweet to watch my children grow. I want them to thrive and be healthy, but at the same time cuddle them while they are young.

Baby Playing

Deborah is changing so much, she just turned 14 months old and is finally starting to play with baby toys for awhile by herself, previously she has wanted me every second of every day or she would cry. 🙂

Deborah crawling

This is how she crawls! It’s an almost walk crawl. So funny! She drags herself along with her one foot.

Baby standing

She has been standing up in the middle of the room by herself and is so close to walking!

Baby Face

Her face melts me, her look of love and trust is overwhelming, and the reminder of my mother through daily calling my daughter by my mothers name is a true joy. Singing her “Amazing Grace” is always calming and emotional to me. My mother’s favorite song and my daughter’s middle name is Grace.

  1. She is just too cute! My son and your daughter are close in age. He’s 15 months. If you don’t mind me asking, what kind of camera do you have? I love the quality of the pictures. I’m hoping to buy a camera tonight or sometime over the weekend.

  2. Indeed they are – she is beautiful. And I know the feeling of watching them grow up. My youngest will soon be 3 and I’ve been watching him the last few weeks – he is no longer my little baby. He has gotten so mature in the last month. I’m still thankful though for those early morning snuggles. Hope those don’t end too soon.

  3. Oh, how sweet! I thought our family was complete, but God has been placing before me, over and over again, so many pregnant women and beautiful new little babies, that I’m excited that maybe He will reopen that door in our lives soon. How special that she shares your mother’s name! My mom passed away last year, and it saddened me to think that I’d never used her name for any of my children. Perhaps I’ll get another opportunity, if I’m understanding the Spirit’s gentle prompting right.

    In Christ,

  4. Oh Caroline! You are so richly, richly blessed with that little doll. Enjoy every moment as I’m sure you do 🙂

  5. Precious! I love the picture of all of your kids together; a picture of love and care, of bonds that will last a lifetime.
