Velvet Pumpkin Giveaway!
I’m sure you’ve seen velvet pumpkins before. Or you might be like me and you only recently heard of them.
I had the chance to hold a velvet pumpkin at a store recently for the first time. It was in the midst of my two youngest girls having a major meltdown as we were shopping for fall decor.
My 1 and 3 year old were screaming quite loudly as we attempted to check out. On top of that, the 1 year old was trying to crawl out of the cart, which of course had the straps broken in it. Fun memories.
But I digress. 🙂
I liked the pumpkin I held in my hand, but it was a little cheap looking. Then I remembered I had seen some amazing pictures of some velvet pumpkins over at The Nester blog. If you don’t follow her home decorating blog, you could get lost over there. I’ve just given you fair warning!
The wonderful ladies at LoveFeast Shop were kind enough to send me a fall trio of pumpkins. As soon as I opened the box, I knew that everything the Nester had said about these pumpkins was true!
These are not just any ordinary velvet pumpkins.
They are exquisite. From their real pumpkin stems, to the amazingly soft velvet fabric, to their lovely, just right weight that make them feel real, these are the deluxe version of the velvet pumpkin!
I’ve enjoyed decorating with these pumpkins and moving them various places as I attempt to find the perfect spot for them. My children have been warned not to play with these pumpkins! As tempting as it might be, they are just too beautiful and well made to allow that! I’m delighted to add this trio of lovely pumpkins to my fall decor. They’ve already become one of my favorite fall decorations and I’m sure will become only more cherished as the years pass.
