Putting Together A Homemaking Binder
I wish I could show you a step by step on how I’ve used a homemaking binder for years now, and had all this wisdom to pass on. Sadly, I don’t. I kept all my mom’s binders because I am in awe of how organized she was. I still pull out her homemaking binder when I really miss her or wish she was here to give me homemaking advice. It’s a precious resource to have.
But as much as I love her binder, it’s not set up for a busy mom with 6 children. I need something totally different and I’ve never found it, until now. Thankfully another mom realized what was needed, and my husband is blessed with graphic design skills to create it.
The Home Management Binder is a 5 part binder that you can print off and use year after year. I took some sneak peaks to show you what it looks like.
In Section 1 is all about Home Management. Included in this is a Week at a Glance, Daily to do Docket, Children’s Chore Chart, Emergency Numbers, Address Book, Birthdays and Anniversaries, Passwords, and Insurance Information.
I love the weekly and daily pages, so I took pictures to show you what those look like in more detail.
Section 2 is In The Kitchen, which includes Menu Planner (2 different styles), Grocery Shopping list, Freezer Inventory, Pantry Inventory, and some Recipe cards.
Section 3 has the Month at a Glance page (Sean’s personal favorite!), Bill Tracker, Debt Worksheet, and Monthly Budget.
Section 4 is the Cleaning pages! Room by Room Cleaning list, Weekly Cleaning list, Yearly Cleaning list.
Finally, the Personal section is the 5th part. Included in this are Books to Read, Prayer Journal, and Fruit and Veggie Tracker. I love the tracker, it’s just what I need to make sure I’m getting in all the good food and water I’m supposed to!
I have good news for you!
When you pre-register for the Homemaking Ministries Online Conference by Friday, October 23rd by 11:59pm EST you are going to get a special training video on how to use a home management binder to help manage your home.
Included with your ticket to the conference is this beautifully designed home management binder that’s ready to print off and start using right away. But unless you know how to effectively use the binder in your home, it might just sit there gathering dust (or worse – as a file on your computer unused, SO been there and done that!).
As a special bonus, Jami from Young Wife’s Guide, has put together a training video walking you through how you can use a home management binder to become a more effective homemaker, how to organize your life without driving yourself crazy, and get your planners, schedules, lists, and more…all in one place! She then takes you on a tour of the binder and goes through how you can use each page to glorify God from within your home.
I’m so excited to watch this video, but it will only be available if you grab a ticket to the Homemaking Ministries Conference by Friday night, Â that goes live October 27-29th.
The Details
After the special bonus closes, Jami will send out an email to all current attendees with where they can download their special bonus training.
Because we know this will be a popular offer, EVERYONE who already purchased a ticket this week will receive the special bonus.
I took the planner to our local UPS store and had it printed in color for about $10 (we had a sale going on for .29 a page). I would suggest at least printing the cover and the main section pages in color, and doing the rest in black and white if you want a super affordable way to print this.
Still confused how to get a copy of this Home Management Binder? The simple answer is to grab a ticket to this online Homemaking Conference and you will be sent the link to download it! 🙂

I love binders! Nothing in my life gets done without them haha. God bless!
Any way to get a copy of the Homemaking Binder Email? I am just now finding this (2018), and have obviously missed the convention. Little help?
