A new book is being released that is written by the oldest four Duggar girls! I can’t wait to read it. My children adore watching the Duggar Family DVD’s.

Here is the Growing Up Duggar Book Description:

In a rare look inside America’s favorite mega-sized family, the four eldest girls talk about their faith, their dreams for the future, and what it’s like growing up a Duggar.

Airing weekly throughout the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand, 19 Kids and Counting has made the huge Duggar family into a media phenomenon. The Duggar children are frequently asked, “Tell the truth; do you really agree with the lifestyle your parents have created for you?” Now, the four eldest Duggar girls—Jana, Jill, Jessa, and Jinger let us know how they feel.

With a backdrop of the key relationships in their lives—relationship with self, parents, siblings, friends, boys, and God—the four Duggar girls open up about their own personal beliefs and convictions, boys, dating, manners, living in a large family, politics, and much more. You’ll learn why Jessa has a reputation as a troublemaker, how the family navigates the difficult years between twelve and sixteen, and what the girls look for in a man, all in a frank and fun book that will inspire teens and adults alike. Including lighthearted stories about the younger kids’ antics, Growing Up Duggar is a wise and entertaining trip into a family like no other.”

You can pre-order the book now on Amazon, it will not be released until November, but if you order it now then it will come in time for Christmas! Wow, I can’t believe I just wrote that. I’m not thinking about Christmas yet, spring just arrived finally! 🙂 But if you are the type you plan months and months ahead for Christmas, I’m sure this will be on the list for many a young girl!

Does your family enjoy watching the Duggar series?

  1. Looks like a great book. I never could watch the show, but have seen a few episodes. I think many are blessed by them. Just a great example of a Christian family.

  2. I live in the same town as the Duggars and they are wonderful people. I went to school with Michelle. We saw her and the older girls out one day and Michelle took the time to talk to my youngest daughter and was so sweet to her. We watch the show faithfully.

  3. LOVE the Duggars! I think they do a lot of things right, and have definitely spurred many a discussion between my husband and I as to how we want to raise our kids.
