Modest Monday and Link Up!
If you can’t find me this week, I’m a little distracted watching the Olympics. 🙂 It’s the first time our family has:
1. Had a tv in our house to watch it on.
2. Been able to get a reception to the Olympics, because we don’t have Cable or any special channels. And up until last year we didn’t have a way to get any tv channels at all. Living in the hometown of the Royals with two boys who love baseball changed that part. 😉
It’s been so fun! We obviously don’t watch all of it, due to modesty issues, but it’s been a refreshing break for our family to just sit together and take a break from a crazy busy life, and enjoy cheering on the USA teams together. Let me know if your family is watching as well!
I’m wearing another favorite outfit, a LulaRoe maxi skirt, with a shirt from Kohls!
Mommy moment here – this was the first time I’ve curled my hair in a week. I don’t always have makeup on or my hair curled! I’ve been really tired this week, so it’s been a pretty basic week with no extras when it comes to my clothes.
What I Wore
Skirt – Maxi skirt from LulaRoe
Shirt – Kohls
Flexi Clip – Peacock Flexi from Lilla Rose
Makeup – Â Foundation and Mascara – L’BRI Pure and Natural
Eye shadow and Blush from Smashbox
Lip Gloss from Younique

Hi,
Yes, I do watch olympia. Even Gymnastics and swimming. The only things I do not watch are Wightlifting and riding. Riding is so cruel.
Thanks so much for the link-up.
It is the opposite for us. This is the first summer Olympics I have not watched in my whole life! We got rid of our TV four years ago right after the summer Olympics. We missed the winter games two years ago as well 🙂 We will pick up the highlights on youtube 🙂
We love watching the Olympics! As a former competitive swimmer the summer olympics are our favorite since that’s when the swimmer’s compete. Gymnastics is another favorite family. The athletes are so powerful and it is so cool to watch. What events are favorites for your family?
My favorite is the gymnastics!
I just came across your blog and love it 🙂 I might have to try to join your linkup today!
Equestrian, fencing, and table tennis are some of my favorites to watch. What’s your family’s favorites?
We love watching the Gymnastics and some of the swimming!
