Today’s outfit is what I wore Saturday. I was really tired on Saturday, but my husband was home all day and I wanted to make an effort to look nice. It took a few extra minutes but I fixed my hair and made sure I put on makeup. Yes I had a toddler outside the bathroom door that wanted me, and yes there were a million things to do, but when I stop for 10-15 minutes and fix my hair, put on makeup and some earrings I feel SO much better all day! My husband really appreciates it when I do it also, which is a huge motivation. 🙂

By the way, I am just loving the Cowgirl Dirt makeup. I’ve been experimenting with different ways to apply it and I like the results I’ve gotten. It is really nice to know that the makeup I’m putting on is all natural, and that it is not nearly as expensive as Bare Minerals. I can get 3-4 items just for the price of the Bare Minerals foundation!

  1. You look lovely, and are blessing yourself by taking those few moments and, as you said, your hubby appreciates it! You are also setting a great example for your children as well. 🙂

Thank you for hosting this today!

  2. I just checked into the make-up. In broke out horribly w/BM (actually all mineral foundations), so I pleased to see that they have foundation that is a cream. I bought a whole bunch of samples. (A GENIUS idea for those for us who are unsure if they will like, or to make sure we don’t break out before spending $ on more cosmetics).

Thanks again! I’m excited to get my samples. 🙂

  3. Beautiful, as usual! Thanks for the heads up on the new makeup brand. Thanks for the party! Hope you’re having a happy day! This week’s Homemaking Linkup is up and I would love to have you join, if you haven’t already.

  4. So beautiful. I love everything about your outfit & hair! I am SO bad with hair and have no idea how to do it. I would love, love, love to see more hair tutorials (like even how to just twist your hair back like you did in these pictures) if you ever have the time :-). The ones you have done in the past have been so helpful to me – thank you!
