Today’s pictures are not really about my outfit (actually you can just ignore my outfit since I’m not even 2 weeks postpartum yet!!), but it’s more about the sweet baby I’m holding! These are makeup free, super casual pictures from my phone. 🙂

I ordered a Wildbird Ring Sling to use with Emily during a recent summer sale they had. I like the idea of a ring sling over a wrap, as I feel like I get them all wrapped up and then they want to nurse, so I unwrap them to nurse and do that back and forth thing all day long.

Yes, I know you can nurse in a wrap. It’s just not my favorite thing to do.

Yes, I also know this ring sling isn’t on perfectly (I think it should be spread out over my shoulder more, you can see that in the pictures below). I’m still learning and watching lots of Youtube videos!

I’m going to be brave and post this picture, but I’ve learned over the years to never post a picture of my baby or toddler in a car seat. If there is one thing that gets every mom criticized, it seems to be a car seat picture regarding the straps.

I was thrilled when Emily liked the sling Saturday. She fell asleep in it and slept for about 2 hours! I was able to clean out the refrigerator, spend a little bit of time outside and then lay down and rest (I took the sling off at that point and she stayed asleep right next to me!). Emily loves to be held most of the time, so this was such a nice break to have her snuggled close, yet have my hands free.

You can also find a ring sling on Amazon that has great reviews, and I love the Warm Sand color!

Isn’t this flexi clip beautiful? It can go with any outfit!  Lilla Rose just came out with a few exclusive styles that only stylists could purchase. I’m now able to offer live Facebook Social Street fair Shows where I can sell them, and do album sales! I’m super eager to jump into doing the Social Street Fair Shows and honestly thought I would do one today, but I’ve decided to wait just a little bit longer because of how much Emily wants to be held (and to give me a little bit more time to recover).

However I am going to put an album sale up today, so make sure and check out my Facebook Page where you can shop these exclusive designs there! You can’t get these clips on my website, the only way is to purchase them directly through me. I think it’s going to be so much fun!

And if you are one of the Lilla Rose customers who has been desperately wishing for a sports themed flexi clip, your wait is over! Coming September 1st on my website are 4 different sports themed flexi clips in different colors for your team! If you create an account on the website now you can get an email notifying you that they are available!

How fun is that?!

  1. That’s awesome that your daughter loved being in a wrap. I loved the carrier and thought it was the best invention ever! My son slept the first time for 2 hours and after that he just squirmed and cried. The next few times he didn’t really like it. I hope your week goes well and baby girl gives you a break here and there so you can rest. Happy Monday!

  3. Thank you so much for hosting again this week. You always do so much for bloggers! Try to stay cool and enjoy your week ahead.

  4. Hi! I’m fairly new to your blog and your link parties. I hope my links fit your qualifications in the “etc.” part of being a godly, feminine woman! I enjoy being hospitable while using my coffee station; I hope my tip for burns helps some people out; and then there are the paper butterflies that can have many useful uses– including for favors for baby showers!
