Modest Monday and a Link Up!
I did it! I actually cut my hair this week. If you are in the modesty group on Facebook, you saw the after pictures there already. 🙂 I ended up cutting about 11 inches off, and I’m donating it to Pantene. Unlike Locks of Love, they give wigs away for free to cancer patients, and they only require 8 inches, so it’s a great organization to support!
I absolutely love it, and so far I’m keeping up with curling it everyday. These pictures were taken on day 2 of curled hair. I can still wear my mini and x-small flexi clips, and put it all up with a medium size clip!
The eyelet lace Keds were a birthday gift from my mother in law. Best gift ever! I wore them all weekend long to a homeschool convention and my feet did not hurt!
The striped shirt is a new favorite item from my last Stitch Fix box!
A lovely necklace that a Lilla Rose downline sent me. She is the sweetest person, and is such a blessing!
A mini flexi clip in my hair!
Here are pictures from the first day, right after I had it cut and styled! I was taking pictures to send to family. 😉
What I Wore
Blue Knit Skirt – from ThredUP (I think it was Old Navy brand)
Shirt – my favorite item from my Stitch Fix box so far! Love it!
Lace Keds – Similar to these from Kohls (Mine were from Ross)
Flexi Clip – Lilla Rose (size mini)
Makeup – L’BRI Pure and Natural
Earrings – Meadowland Designs on Etsy – love her jewelry!

Oh my goodness, I can’t believe you cut your hair! I bet your head feels much lighter and you feel much cooler. You look very springy in all your pics. Thanks for the linkup. 🙂
I thought about it for several weeks! My hair grows really fast, and I was ready for a change. My baby turned 1 on Easter Sunday, and I wanted to celebrate that I made it through her first year! 😉
You look great Caroline!
The shoes look cute but how can you keep them white?
Can they be machine washed?
Greetings from Germany
Salo
I haven’t washed them yet, but I’m planning on just throwing them in the wash on delicate as needed.
I love the new hair! So nice & fresh for spring time 🙂 In Ontario here we’re still snowing, but hopefully the warmer weather is upon us soon!
Thanks so much for hosting,
