Black Skirt from Cato and Solid Black Shirt

Thursday night Sean and I (along with baby Sophia!) went to a fundraiser dinner for our local pro-life woman’s clinic. They do an amazing job of helping women, giving choices and offering support. Our church provides a meal once a month for the parenting classes that these young girls get, and I was happy to go and support them. It was at a really nice venue, and we heard Dr. Tony Evans speak.

We were going to be gone long enough that I needed to bring along Sophia, as she would need to be fed. I needed to wear a nursing friendly outfit, so I ended up deciding that black is always safe for a nice evening out. 🙂  The skirt is a new one I bought on a rare shopping day out with my sister. She really wanted to buy one also, but told me if I bought it, she would make a pattern from it so we could both sew some more. It will be super easy to make!

A flower clip from Paparrazi

I used a flower clip from Paparrazi Accessories to pull my hair back. I’ve not been wearing many necklaces as Sophia is pretty aggressive trying to grab anything she possibly can. 🙂

What I Wore

Skirt – Dress Barn

Shirt – Mikarose

Shoes – I think my Mother in Law gave them to me? Thrift Store?

Earrings – Handmade Pearl Earrings

Makeup – L’BRI Pure and Natural

  1. Caroline, I LOVE that outfit! You look great! (Sorry for my linky mess-up this morning. 🙁 I posted from my phone and when I tried to crop my image, even though it showed it fine when I hit submit, it came out blank. You can’t delete from your phone unfortunately. If you want to delete it I will submit again. I hate blanks, lol.) Blessings!

  2. I love your black shirt. Mikarose is such a nice brand. I have a couple of dresses that are my favorites from them. Thank you for the link-up. I linked 69-71 and 73. Have a great week.
