Friday was our first date since Sophia was born! I was so ready to just go out with Sean and have a night to talk.

Sophia did great while we were out. She slept through almost our whole dinner, and we had fun being out just with her. 🙂 That is not the best photo of her! How about this one instead? 🙂

Precious baby smiles!

I decided to just go casual for our date. Actually – this is the third outfit I put on. It was crazy! I was trying to get the perfect outfit but the tank top wasn’t matching the skirts I had. I was about ready to start from scratch when Sean said he liked the tank top, so I just put the jean skirt on so we could leave. 🙂

We were at my dad and step-mom’s house over Memorial Day weekend, and this is one of the outfits I wore at their house. I know some readers were wanting more everyday outfits, so I’m trying to remember to snap some pictures throughout the week!

We are busy getting ready for a garage sale and we also have a table at our used homeschool book sale this week. I’m in a major purge mood, after having read through “The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up, A Simple Effective Way To Banish Clutter Forever“. While it is not written from a Christian viewpoint ( you have to ignore a lot of her thinking on objects having feelings), it really has changed the way I look at my stuff.

Today Lilla Rose released the flexi clip for June! It’s a fun ladybug that will look cute for Summer! You can get it in seven different sizes, check out this sizing chart for more help!

  1. Each of the three times I have had a new baby, I have a garage sale because I get that need to purge.

  2. I love the outfits. How great that you found those skirts at the thrift store!

You and your little girl look lovely. I hope you had a great date night.

    • I don’t get out to the thrift store often, so I’m always thrilled if I manage to find something when I do go!

  3. I have been looking for a book or guide to help declutter for the last few months. Usually I’m great in this area, but lately I’ve been stuck in a rut. I had a gift card to Amazon to use up, so I bought the cheaper kindle version of “The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up” that you mentioned. I’m excited that it teaches you how to avoid letting clutter creep back in the house 😉

    • Thank you so much for always being so encouraging! I love reading your blog as well, it’s a favorite of mine! 🙂
