Plaid is really popular this year. I like it as long as it’s paired with a feminine skirt. I don’t want to look like a lumberjack, but outfits like this are so cute!

Do you have boots for fall? They are an essential item for my fall outfits!

I love when accessories coordinate just perfectly with the outfit! This is a pretty skirt that would go well with several different colors of tops.

Blanket Scarves – love them or hate them? They are definitely just a trend, and I’ve heard some people say they love them and others say they are really hot to wear. I’ve thought it would be nice to use as a nursing cover in the winter. ; )

I love these ankle boots. I have yet to buy a pair but they look cute in all the outfits I’ve seen.

Hoot Owl Flexi Clip, only available at Lilla Rose during October!

This is my favorite fall accessory right now! The Hoot flexi clip is only available in October, so I was quick to grab some. I’m surprised with how much I’ve fallen in love with this clip as I’m not a huge owl lover. They just are more beautiful in real life!

I hope you all have a great weekend!

  1. The skirt in the 2nd outfit is really cute! I like the idea of using a blanket scarf as a nursing cover! That last outfit is super cute.

  2. Cute outfits! Love the owl flexi clip 🙂 I thought if I can put in a request for you to show some modest, feminine sleepwear? I would love some ideas! Thanks 🙂

    1. Hello! Honestly I’m not big on modest sleepwear. 🙂 I wear a robe before bed if I’m wearing something I don’t want my children to see, but I don’t like the long flowing nightgowns and being covered head to toe even at bedtime. We don’t have older children in our room, so I’m guessing my husband appreciates this. 😉

  3. Hi there! I found your website from hearing you on The Homemaking Foundations podcast.

Glad I found you! I really love your Feminine Friday posts, I’ve been looking through a few of them already. Just wanted to say thanks for putting these together. I just recently started thinking a lot more about trying to be more modest in my dress and it can be a little scary to think about re-vamping my whole wardrobe and how to stay fashionable and feminine while remaining modest as well. So these types of posts are a big help for ideas. 🙂

    Thanks again!
