Dressing for the Holidays: Dressy Thanksgiving Outfits & Link Up!
Instead of Modest Monday we are going to continue our Dressing for the Holidays series. Last week we talked about dressing for casual Thanksgiving gatherings. Today I wanted to share some outfits that are a little more dressy looking. I think I exhausted my wardrobe last week though, so I’m going to share some outfits from my Pinterest board.
An easy way to dress an outfit up is to accessorize it with scarves, nice shoes or boots, earrings, necklace, a nice hairstyle, a cute belt, and even a pretty watch. You can find most of these items fairly affordable, or look for them at thrift stores or consignment stores.
I’m not crazy about the ring (it’s HUGE!) but I love the ruffled look with the sweater and brown skirt!
This outfit could be either for fall or winter time!
And finally, our new Belle Skirt that we just added to Deborah & Co. would be a lovely fall item!
I’d love to know, do you dress pretty casual for your Thanksgiving gathering, or do you prefer to dress up nicely?Â

I love all the outfit ideas, Caroline! You always inspire me. 🙂
We have a casual Thanksgiving – One sister will show up in the latest “Fashion” and one sister will be there wearing Jeans and a sweatshirt one of my nieces will come in almost Goth clothing and then there will be my daughter and I in our skirts 🙂
I just wanted to tell you I LOVE the outfits in your pinterest pictures – I always have dreamed of fancy Holidays but it really is not my families personality – when there are 12 kids we just have to go with the flow
Beautiful outfit ideas, Caroline! Now, if I could just find the money to buy them all! haha
Thanks for the link up opportunity. Have a blessed Thanksgiving.
Thank you so much for hosting this linkup. I always find new friends and new ideas. 🙂 I’m working on my Thanksgiving outfit as well… I will have to cook in it all morning because I won’t have time to change. That makes it a bit more difficult.
Lovely outfits! Thanks for the great post & for hosting, & God bless!

Lovely outfits, indeed, and the new Belle skirt is so pretty and feminine! Might just be going on my wish list. 🙂
I love the new skirt! The outfit with the argyle sweater is really cute, but I’d be afraid to get the skirt caught in the bike parts. 😉
Thanks so much for hosting. I hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving! 🙂
Adorable finds! I wish we dressed up a bit more, but with three toddlers in the bunch, it just means stains and a mess! Here’s hoping for next year…
