Modest Monday And A Link Up
Saturday my sister had our family over and we enjoyed a Spring party at her house. It was SO much fun!
We don’t do Easter Egg hunts on Easter Sunday, but this year my sister purchased some Easter eggs when they went on clearance, and we had a Spring party with a spring egg hunt for the children!
She put stickers, toy spiders, erasers, and candy in the eggs and we hid them outside. We had lunch together, and just enjoyed being together.
Happy faces excited to be finding treasures!
Deborah content to just play with the empty eggs!
Of course we needed chocolate chip cookies for the party! They were so yummy….
Playing tug of war with my oldest.
Stopping to take Modest Monday Pictures in the midst of the fun…
I couldn’t stop laughing for long though….my husband likes to say funny things when taking my pictures for the blog. 🙂
I braided my hair and then twisted it up with a flexi clip. My hair is so slippery my braid was falling apart at this point….

I love parties! Spring is a good thing to celebrate!
It seems like treasure hunts/Easter egg hunts are just a fun thing for kids. The excitement and anticipation! I remember my kiddos enjoying playing with the plastic eggs when they were smaller.
A few years ago they enjoyed dying eggs and then taking them outside and hiding them over and over!
Chocolate chip cookies are good for any occasion!
