Did anyone get their hall closet cleaned out? I managed to get one of our closets cleaned, here are some before and after pictures.

Don’t you love our organized sheets? 🙂

After picture….I know it could be organized even better but I’m happy with the progress. I threw away quite a few bottles of things we just don’t use. I also took up someone’s suggestion of putting sheets elsewhere, and moved all our master bedroom sheets under our bed. Our winter sheet set I folded up and put in one of the pillowcases.

Physical Challenge

Today we are scrubbing the kitchen cabinets. If you have a small kitchen this won’t take long! If you have a large kitchen, give your children a sponge and have them help. 🙂 This is a job that can be easily overlooked but your kitchen will look so much better if the cabinets are wiped clean.

Spiritual Challenge

Do you have someone in your life that you need to be long suffering with? Perhaps a child that is going through a struggle and you must be patient with, a husband who is not following the Lord and you must love him through his sin. Today as you scrub your cabinets, think about showing long suffering towards your loved one.

Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.” James 5:11

Sometimes our lot in life is to endure a trial. How much more blessed and happy are we through that trial if we will endure it patently. Instead of chafing at the bit, allow yourself to blossom and bloom as a rose through that trial. So much easier said then done, yet the Lord grants strength for his children.
