My oldest daughter and I share a love of modest fashion. Elyse
is 15, and she’s one of my best friends. (She’s so sweet–she recently pulled off an amazing surprise 40th birthday tea party
One of our favorite things to do is find inexpensive clothing items from the thrift store and then put together creative outfits using what we already have in our closets. We also swap clothes and accessories pretty frequently, which is fun!

This white lace ruffle top is one of my favorite things to wear. And it was on clearance when I found it a few years ago! As a mom of five who has struggled with a diastasis recti
for around thirteen years, I’m always on the lookout for tops that will disguise my stomach, and ruffle tops do this wonderfully!
~Joy is blessed to be married to her best friend, and the mother of five children. You can find her at Artful Homemaking
