I finally felt well enough to take some Modest Monday pictures! This is what I wore Saturday, and even though I just stayed home it was nice to get dressed in something nicer than what I have been wearing! Between a broken foot and being really sick with a head cold I haven’t been able to put as much energy into the extra touches as I would like. It’s ok. There are different seasons of life.

Coral Sweater

Modest Monday Outfit

It was the day before Fall, and I really wanted to wear a cardigan! Thankfully this one has 3/4 length sleeve, so I was ok when it warmed up in the afternoon.

Mialisia Necklace

Β My new necklace! I thought it added a good splash of color. πŸ™‚

Rocking Chair

Β My sister took these pictures for me, and she was insistent that I sit down in the rocking chair for a few pictures. I think the balancing act of standing without my crutches made her nervous. πŸ˜‰ I’m at the halfway point! Hopefully in 3 more weeks I can say goodbye to the crutches!

L'BRI foundation

Do you notice how the foundation doesn’t stick to the bottles? That’s because the very first ingredient in this oil free foundation is aloe vera! I’ve been using the second bottle from the left with fantastic results. I literally can’t tell I even have makeup on, and all the colors stay on so well! Another big plus for me, is that this foundation costs $6.00 less than what I had been using, and I like it much better!

L'BRI makeup

Here is a picture of what I used. The large makeup kit came with my starter kit with L’BRI, and it is so much fun trying different colors. πŸ™‚ I used the oil free foundation, the finishing powder, blush, eyeliner, eyeshadow, and lipstick.

    • The oil free foundation from L’BRI goes on even better than Cowgirl Dirt. It is so, so smooth and it covers blemishes better. Also, it stays on through the whole day better. The two products I like a lot better than Cowgirl Dirt is the foundation and the mascara. I always had some work to do in order to not have the mascara from Cowgirl dirt smudge on my face. With L’BRI I put it on, and I’m good to go.

      • Awesome thanks! I agree about the CG foundation, I always had to make sure I had to use a moisturizer for it to go in smoothly. I can’t use the mineral foundation since I seem to be allergic to all mineral foundations I try. I’m definitely going to try this new one out! I saw the samples are free but we just pay for handling.

One thing I didn’t see was the regular sizes and colors? I wanted to see the prices, in case I like it.

BTW, I love the color of the cardigan. I wear cardigans year round, hides my tummy (even with 2 shapers on lol).

  1. I wore a cardigan yesterday. πŸ™‚ I LOVE cooler weather {not ready for cold}…just enough for a light cardigan.

Your necklace is so cute. It adds a great touch. The whole outfit is pretty. I like the color of the cardigan and the fun pop with the flowers. I could own way too many sweaters!

Praying for you to continue healing quickly!
