Modest Monday and a Link Up!

So…I found this dress at Marshalls recently and really liked it. There was a huge side slit that I wanted to sew up halfway, and I finally got it done last night. I loved how it felt on today…but I saw the one and only picture we took (thanks to grabbing a super small memory card for the camera!), and the wind doesn’t make the dress look very flattering. Ha! Oh well. My 12 year old has been taking pictures for me, and sometimes they turn out great. Just not always. 🙂

These new earrings are from a really cute Etsy store called Emmie and Ellie. I like quite a few of her earrings that she made.

I hope everyone had a good Father’s Day with your husband or father! We had a nice day spent with family, and came home to eat homemade apple pie and ice cream that I made.
