The Modest Mom Giveaway!!

A long denim skirt is hard to find these days. In a culture that seems to revel in baring all, we can show love to our children by setting a good example in how we dress. As we raise our children, they should know that there are standards in dress. Our daughters should not feel the pressure to dress in skimpy clothing that shows every curve and crevice on their body.

I started The Modest Mom to offer a resource of modest clothing for ladies. As a mom of five children 8 and under I have little time to go clothes shopping.   158. I would love to win the rainbow skirt. Until last summer, when I was pregnant, I didn't usually wear skirts. I always felt they were to dressy for my casual lifestyle, but the rainbow skirt looks perfect to either dress up or down depending on my mood!

    Also have wanted to say thank you so much for your blog and the encouragement you offer to be modest in the world we live in today. Even to me, as a teenager. Your blog has been such a support to me-I come from a large family (I'm the oldest of 5-love, love love having so many siblings!) and I am getting married at the age of 20, which many people have discouraged. But we know what the Lord wants from us and we will trust Him.

    So thank you, thank you for the way you encourage and share the love of the Lord through your blog. It has blessed my life!

  238. I would LOVE the Nantucket. I keep going into the shop and looking at it. I'm just prioritizing my clothing needs right now, in our budget, and they fall below the "getting out of debt" part on the priority list. One day, I'll have that skirt. 🙂
