An Update on ThredUP, Plus Gently Used Women’s Store!

When I wrote this post last month on ThredUp, I was going on all the reviews I had read online that this company was legit. It sounded really good, sign up for free, get $10 credit added to your account and pick out a child’s piece of clothing totally free? If you share about it, you get $10 credit every time someone orders something through your link. I earned some credit from that, and finally got around to ordering some winter clothes for the children. The pictures looked fantastic online. Here are some items that are for sale right now:

Lands End Dress and IZOD Chino Pants. Both Brand new with tags!

I ordered all of my clothing for winter, and I was so excited when I got the huge box! I don’t have any complaints about any of the clothes! They are all in excellent condition, and I feel so blessed to have stumbled on this deal! At this point they have taken off the shipping price being in included in your $10 credit, but you can still sign up and receive the credit and simply pay shipping if you are ordering one item. Orders of $40 or more ship for free.

I was very surprised over the quantity of boy items. It’s so hard to find boy clothes that are in good used condition, and these were all in fantastic condition. I even got our oldest son a Van Heusen Suit!

If you order something, you could share your own special link through email or Facebook and try to earn some credit of your own!

After having such a good result with ThredUp, I went looking to see if there was something like this for women. I found a website called Twice, and while I didn’t find many skirts/dresses  that were long enough for my standards, I found a lot of blouses/cardigans that I liked. Once again it is name brand clothing that is gently used and is quite a bit cheaper than new.

You can sign up here to receive a $10 credit to Twice, and shop for yourself as well!

  1. I tried the links in the article to “Twice.” Neither of the links worked. Can you please check on that or post the web address? Thanks!
