Which one is your favorite? It’s hard for me to pick, but I’m drawn towards the first picture the most.

  1. They all look great on tall to average height thin ladies but whenever I try longer skirts on my size 12 , 5ft tall , DD chest self I just look silly or frumpy . I really love the look in these pictures but it never looks like that on me Any suggestions for a short full figured lady ?

      1. thanks for the suggestion …still I don’t think that would work . My biggest problem is I am very large on top with broad shoulders and a large chest but I have virtually no hips and no behind a size 10 pants is baggy on my butt but I have to be in my sisters wedding and I had to order a size 18 dress to fit my chest . The dress was suppose to be just above the knee but on me it hit mid calf and it’s sleeveless so I look like a dwarf line backer lol I wear sweats most days or jeans and t-shirts because I never can find feminine clothes that look right on my frame .

        1. Find a good tailor, the dress for your sister’s wedding can be altered. I’ve yet to see one person go get a dress for any occasion and not need it to be altered.

You buy skirt, and pants to fit your hips, waist can be altered. The pants and skirts will fit a lot nicer when altered.

Have you tried looking under, “Inverted triangle,” on Pinterest. That might help you visualize clothing that flatters your body type. Dark on top, and lighter on bottom, maybe.

  2. The first is the prettiest but also the most unrealistic one 🙂 The skirt and shirt are easy, the vest that is worn over it might be found (although I never manage to find stuff like that…either way to tight or like a big bag) but the hat and boots …. are a harder catch 🙂 It is super super pretty though…
    Thanks for the inspiration 🙂
Tomorrow my sewing machine is coming back home after being in repairs so I can start sewing dresses or altering things again 🙂

  3. The first picture reminds me of you 🙂 I like the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd the best… but probably the 1st and 3rd more… as far as a favorite… I can’t decide! The first definitely seems more of a dead winter kinda thing, while the third is like “okay, winter is ending, here comes Spring!” photo 😉

  4. Those are all so cute! But what about cute pregnant winter outfits? Honestly I feel like a whale all bundled up right now lol I would love some inspiration!

  5. None of them are really my style. 2, 3 (albeit way tooooo long for my taste) and 4 are closest. 2 and 4 are too light of a fabric for winter, I would only wear into Summer.

  6. All of them are pretty, not all are my style. I also have a hang-up about wearing white skirts in the winter. Seems like a summer color to me.
